Crunchy tops, slender stems, vigorous are just a few of the words that describe Waltham 29 Broccoli. 75 days. Broccoli has a long culinary history going back to the Romans but it wasn’t until recently that its exceptional health benefits were recognized. Florets and stems are packed with vitamin C and provide calcium, potassium and iron. The 4"-6", blue-green heads are delicious raw or cooked—much better than store-bought broccoli. Freezes well. Kids will adore the “little trees” on their plate. Seeds can be sown directly into garden when soil is warm or started in containers. Zones 3-10
