Details: Leave the hors d'oeuvres to us! This locally sourced bundle of farmers market garden vegetables makes a fantastic party-starter. All of the vegetables included in this bundle are crisp and flavorful (and packed with nutrients!) when eaten raw, and they make a great snack. They're also super simple to gussie up for your esteemed guests - just call it crudites! You supply the tray, your favorite dip (and your expert chopping skills, of course!) Your local farmers market will take care of the rest. Each bundle supplies 4-5 different varieties of produce, or enough fresh veggies to cover the hors d'oeuvres course for 4-6 people. Past selections include celery, carrots, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, jicama and sugar snap peas. All vegetables are sourced directly from local farms including Anna's Family Farm, Denny's Organic Farm, Garcia Organic Farms, Gourmet Specialties, JF Organic Farms, JR Organics, Jimenez Farm, John Givens Farm, Moua's Farm, Polito Family Farms, Rancho La Familia, Sahu, Stehly Farms Organics, Smith Farms, Summer Harvest Farm, Wholeness Farm and Tamai Family Farms. To assemble a vegetable party tray: Wash all produce, discard stems and peel as desired. Cut into snacking sticks, slices, dip-ready florets, or keep whole (in the case of snap peas, cherry tomatoes and radishes) and stick a toothpick into each one for quick veggie-pops! Serve with your favorite hummus or dip.
